The Ark of the World Team is more than just a basketball team!

The team plays the matches at Roof's indoor stadium and with coach Yiannis Dionysopoulos and general captain Filippos Sotiropoulos, it has even competed in the E.S.K.A. championship in the 2nd category.

"The role of the team has a double goal. On the one hand, the sporting ideal and fair competition, and on the other, social solidarity. The players of the team are adults, who as children were supported by the Ark and today they are family heads in need of support, or they are children and teenagers who are already supported by the Arks or children who did not have access to sports for free", says father Antonios.
